Nashville Trip #5

On Sunday night (9/23) mom and I left for Nashville with a quick stop at the studio to record some new songs. On Monday and Tuesday we attended songwriting classes from NSAI's "Songposium". It was a terrific time of learning and networking.
It's also a great time of ministry since many of the people in the music industry are not saved. One songwriter that we are especially praying for is Jeffrey Steele. I don't have his picture posted, but in January he lost his 13 year-old son and I don't think he has Christ in his life to carry him through. It really touched him when he heard that we have been praying.

"Ladies Love Country Boys"
This was one of Rivers Rutherford's #1's this year. On Tuesday evening at the #1 Celebration. Here I am with Rivers Rutherford and a new friend and songwriter, Mindy from New York.

"I've Been Watching You"
Here's Brian White at the #1 Celebration. He is a Christian and shares his faith in his songwriting.

James Dean Hicks (originally from Bardstown, KY) and Marc Beeson performed at the Tin Roof on Tuesday after the #1 Celebration.

Here I am with James Dean Hicks after a great songwriting class by him and his co-writer Tim Johnson.

Shane was on the Publisher's Panel on Monday. He's originally from Cinncinatti, OH. He's the Creative Director of Ole Publishing.
